Senovio Arevalo
August 3, 1936 – October 23, 2026

Senovio Arevalo, a beloved patriarch and pillar of his family, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Robstown, Texas, on August 3, 1936, to Jesus and Dominga Arevalo (Rodriguez), Senovio lived a life defined by resilience, hard work, and deep family roots. Immigration circumstances during his childhood led him to grow up in Mexico, where he met the love of his life, Elva Garcia. Upon reaching adulthood, he returned to the United States as a proud U.S. citizen and brought his family with him, continuing a family legacy that began when the Arevalo family immigrated to this country together in the early 1900s.

Senovio was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elva Garcia Arevalo. He is survived by his loving children: Senovio Arevalo Jr. (Ylsa Navarro), Elva Borrego (Carlos), Jose Luis (Joe) Arevalo (Diana Lynn), Marissa Perez (Inezel), and Carlos Arevalo. He also leaves behind his three brothers, Eugenio, Jesus, and Guadalupe Arevalo; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a large, close-knit extended family across Texas and beyond.

For nearly 33 years, Senovio poured his heart, sweat, and soul into his work with Joe Arevalo & Associates, Ltd. and Keystone Cold LLC. Known for his hands-on dedication, he helped navigate U.S. Customs and import-export transactions while bringing warmth, humor, and a welcoming presence to everyone he encountered.

Beyond his work, Senovio was the heart of his family. He was a steady, dependable presence, always ready to lend a helping hand. He could fix anything he set his mind to, and his generosity was matched by his sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor. He brought joy, laughter, and strength to those around him.

Senovio lived a full, vibrant life into his final months, driving himself and visiting family with the fierce independence that defined him. His legacy of hard work, generosity, devotion to family, and unforgettable laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
