MISSION - Reymundo Rodriguez Jr. was born December 2, 1948, in Mission, Tx to Acisla and Reymundo Rodriguez. On September 7, 2019 he joined his parents in heaven surrounded by his family after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maria Hortencia Rodriguez, daughters, Melisa (husband Steven) Johnson, Mireya (husband Danny) Mejia, and son Ray (wife Priscilla) Rodriguez. Grandchildren Nicholas Brian Johnson, Noah Steven Johnson, Jacob Daniel Mejia, Reymundo Sharkey Rodriguez, and Mireya Olivia Rodriguez. Brother Eulogiio (wife Irene) Rodriguez, Sisters Maria G. Vega, Mickie (husband Roy) Vargas, Marcel (husband Rodolfo) Ramirez and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers: Florencio Vega Jr,, Fernando Vega, Danny Vargas, Michael Vargas, Rey David Garcia, Josh Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, Danny Vela, Wilfredo Vela, and Ray Rodriguez. God Saw You Getting Tired God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you And whispered, ?Come to Me?. With tearful eyes we watched you Ans saw you pass away And although we love you dearly We could not make you stay A Golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Thank you for all the laughs, jokes, smiles and all the great food. Our Cruise in March was an event! You are our heart, our love, and you will be missed. We love you!
