Rebecca Gutierrez Gracia

Rebecca Gutiérrez Gracia, 77, of Peñitas, Texas, passed away on October 18, 2026, at Avir Nursing Home Facility.

Born on March 26, 1949, in Laredo, Texas, Rebecca was a loving and caring daughter, friend, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She shared her love in ways both small and profound. A hardworking woman, who devoted herself to keeping homes sparkling clean and for twenty years, caring for and serving the needs of the elderly. In her free time, Rebecca enjoyed socializing with friends and family, especially during bingo nights. She will be remembered for her generous heart, compassion, and the way she always put others’ needs before her own.

Rebecca is survived by her children: Janette Ybarra, married to Jonathan Ybarra; Rosemary Grace, married to Michael Grace; Fernando Gracia Jr., married to Esmeralda Saucedo Gracia; and Moisés Gracia, married to Jessica Garcia Gracia.

She was a loving grandmother to Isai Williams and his wife Oceaon; Iysa Peña; Moisés Jr. Gracia; Nathaniel Gracia and his wife, Brizaida; and Janelle Gracia; Jesús Saucedo and his wife, Desirae; Victoria Gracia; Jenissa Gracia; Obed Ybarra and his wife, Megan; Genesis Ybarra.

She was also a loving great-grandmother to Aubree, Braylon, Bryston, Aaliyah, Brannon, Gabriel, Joy, Alice, Madeline, Jesse, and Nathan.

Rebecca is also survived by her sisters Elida Rodriguez, Tomasa Cruz, Elia Nava, and Rosa Hernández. She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Gutierrez and Elia Gutierrez; her sisters Zulema Chapa, Juanita Lopez, Mary Lerma, and Antonia Muñoz; and her brothers Domingo Gutierrez, Isidro Gutierrez, Bobby Gutierrez, Joe Gutierrez, Domingo Jr. Gutierrez, and Ramón Gutierrez.
