In Loving Memory of Ramon Sotullo, Sr.

Ramon Sotullo, Sr., age 91, entered eternal rest peacefully on October 16, 2026, in the comfort of
his home in Perezville, Texas, with his beloved wife by his side.

Ramon lived a long and memorable life, one marked by service to his country, a passion for music, and the generations of family that carry on his legacy. He proudly served in the united States Army as a Corporal from 1957 to the 1963. During his military service, he was stationed in Germany and participated in competitive boxing, an experience that reflected his determination and competitive spirit.

Music held a special place in Ramon's life, particularly his love for the accordion. A talented and enthusiastic musician, he found great enjoyment in playing the instrument, a passion that remained an important part of his life. His appreciation for music became one of the many distinctive qualities by which he will be remembered.

One of the most remarkable chapters of Ramon's life was his marriage to his wife, Amelia, with whom he shared more than 72 years. Together, they witnessed decades of change, celebrated countless milestones, and built a family spanning four generations. Their marriage represents a lifetime of shared history, experiences, and memories.

Ramon is survived by his wife of over 72 years, Amelia Sanchez Sotullo; their four children, Guadalype (George) O'Caña, Maria E. Garza, Ramon Sotullo, Jr., and Rosario (Gonzalo) Garza; his 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

As his family reflects on his 91 years of life, his legacy includes a family spanning four generations and more than seven decades of marriage. He will be remembered for his life experiences, personal interests, and the family history he leaves behind.

May he rest in eternal peace.
