On April 26th, Patricia Marie Corzine, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away at the age of 54 years young. Patricia was born in Fort Eustis, Virgina and gained a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development from Austin Peay University. While attending Austin Peay and student teaching, she met her husband, Philip. They married in 1993 and raised two daughters, Lauren and Lenzy.\n\nPatricia had a great passion for education, so much so that in 2005 she decided to homeschool her two daughters. Through their 15 years of homeschooling, Tricia instilled a love of music, theater, and life long learning into her girls. She was active in homeschool groups and supported her family in whatever hobby they chose to pursue. Tricia enjoyed spending time at the beach, musicals, writing poems, and anything else that involved her uncanny creativity.\n\nPatricia was known for her sense of humor, her love of storytelling, and her compassion for others. Her motto was “anything to help”. Patricia leaves behind a strong family that vow to carry on the mission “anything to help”. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we instead ask for donations to be made to Blue Sunday Child Abuse Prevention. A memorial service will be held May 28th at CFC McAllen at 2:30pm.
