Ninfa Gloria Obituary (1935 - 2025)

Ninfa Gloria, 90, went home to the Lord Peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born in Mission on March 8,1935 and was raised in La Joya, Texas, the second of six children to Patricio and Eloisa Gloria. After graduating from High School, she worked shortly at the Mc Allen-Hidalgo International Bridge in the immigration office assisting Migrant workers. Later, she was employed at Edelstein’s Furniture Store before she started her last employment at La Joya I.S.D as a Registers Clerk for 45 years before retiring. During this time, she was also a devoted Catholic and was a member of the Choir at the church of Our Lady Queen of Angels in La Joya, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Patricio and Eloisa Gloria , brother Marcos Gloria, sister Irene Vera, sister Antonia Gloria, Niece Graciela Vera ,sister Elma Lopez, nephew Wilfredo Gloria. She is survived by her sister Olga (Ramiro) Garcia of Buda, Tx; Niece Elma (Wilfredo) and Beatrice Gloria of Mission, Tx. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, 11 great grandnieces/nephews, and 7 great- great nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Ric Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Mission, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday June 4,2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Ric Brown Chapel. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
