It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we share the passing of a truly inspiring and loving soul, Michelle Ivonne Lopez, fondly known as Michi. Born in Mission, Texas, on July 12, 1994, Michelle was a spirited force of nature who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her compassionate nature, infectious laugh, and radiant personality left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. \n\nMichelle Ivonne was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from spending precious moments with her beloved son, Kenny, to indulging in her fascination with the moon, astrology, painting, and crystals. Her love for fashion was evident in her unique flair, and she was always ready with a song for every occasion, with "Ocean" by Hillsong being a particular favorite. Yet, above all else, her love for God stood out prominently. She dived headfirst into serving the Lord, and her faith was a guiding light in her life. As the Bible verse Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," it was evident that her faith provided her with boundless strength and love. Her return to her faith was a testament to her belief in spirituality and the power of love, which she generously shared with all around her.\n\nMichelle Ivonne was a beacon of love and light, always ready to lend a hand or offer a comforting word. Her love for her family and friends was unparalleled, and her presence alone was enough to lift everyone's spirits. She is survived by her son Kenny Chrisman, her parents Oriel Lopez and Veronica Guzman, her step-parents Valeria Zuniga and Leonardo Guajardo, her siblings Bryan Lopez and Laura Lopez, her sister-in-law Kelsey Koningsor, her brother-in-law Ivan Lasoya, and her grandmother Maria Guzman. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Pedro Guzman and Nicholas Lopez, and her grandmother Matiana Lopez.\n\nA public visitation will be held on Sunday, 13 Aug 2023 at 4:00pmCDT at the Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, Texas.
