Maria Teresa Rodriguez, of Palmview, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on March 11, 1948, in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico, to the late Eliazar Garcia and Valentina Cervantes de Garcia.
Maria Teresa was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, proud great-grandmother, and caring sister. Her family was the center of her life, and she found her greatest joy in the love and happiness of those around her. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, the memories she created, and the lasting impact she had on those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Victor Rodriguez Jr.;
her sons, Victor Rodriguez III (Gloria Rodriguez) and Ricardo Eliazar Rodriguez (Laura Rodriguez); her grandchildren, Victor Rodriguez IV (Nelli Jacobo-Rodriguez), Ricardo Eliazar Rodriguez Jr., Lauren Victoria Rodriguez, and Mia Alexandria Rodriguez; and her great-granddaughter, Nayeli Rodriguez.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eliazar Garcia and Valentina Cervantes de Garcia.
Maria Teresa's love and presence will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on through the stories her family tells, in the memories created around her, and in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
