Luis Daniel Cazares Jr., 12 years old, of Edinburg, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Luis was born on August 2, 2013, in McAllen, Texas, to Clarissa D. Gaona and Luis D. Cazares.
He is survived by his loving siblings: his sister, Dinise E. Perez, and his brothers, Anthony G. Cazares and Adrian E. Cazares.
Luis was known for his charm, big heart, and authenticity. He was a proud redhead whose favorite color was red, a perfect reflection of his bright and bold spirit. He had a playful personality and a gentle soul, always showing kindness to others. He loved basketball and had a special way of making people smile.
A funeral and memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Rick Brown Funeral Home.
