Lucia Gonzalez Obituary (1920 - 2022)

Born a daughter of her Lord Jesus Christ on May 26, 1920, Lucia I. Gonzalez, otherwise known as "MAMO" by all her family was called home by her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the age of 102 years young. She devoted her LIFE to Christ through her strong faith. As a child, she suffered the loss of her father. This experience served to shape her into the STRONG, INDEPENDENT, CARING and NURTURING woman she became the remainder of her life. We can say, in all honesty, that she had her priorities straight. First and foremost was God, followed by her FAMILY, and everything else just fell into place. Mamo was a shrewd businesswoman, a great judge of character with common sense galore. Mamo was the pillar of her family and will be deeply missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband Ruperto S. Gonzalez, Sr.; her son in law David Ibanez; and her siblings Luis Isassi, Jose Isassi, Manuel Isassi, Dolores Pena, Leonor Alaniz and Ester Isassi. She is survived by her daughters and sons Ruperto (Julieta) Gonzalez, Jr., Edna Gloria Ibanez, Lucila Estela (Victor) Miller, Juan Jose (Celia) Gonzalez, Norma Ann (Tomas) Canales, Roberto J. Gonzalez, Liz Genel (George) Montes; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a sister in law Rafaela Isassi
