Lazara Jaime Obituary (1934 - 2024)

Lazara "Lala" Jaime, aged 89, of Mission, TX, passed away on April 5, 2024. She was born on December 17, 1934, in Mexico. Lala was known for her kind, giving, selfless, and loving nature. She was also described as strong-willed, courageous, and deeply religious. She found solace and community at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In her leisure time, Lala enjoyed gardening, sewing, walking, riding her tricycle, praying, reading, watching novelas, and cooking delicious meals for her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted spouse, David A. Jaime, her children: Irma Rivera, Jesus Jaime, Dora Jaime, David Jaime Jr., Rosalva Jaime, and Jorge Jaime, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lala is also survived by her brothers, Armando Martinez and Mario Martinez. Lala was preceded in death by her mother, Leonarda Martinez Rubio, her father, Cypriano Martinez, her brothers, Manuel Martinez, Juan Martinez, her sister, Maria de Lourdes Medina, her son, Juanito Jaime, and her grandson, Juan Jaime Vega.
