SAN JUAN - Larry D. Perkins, of San Juan, TX has passed away in his home on January 4, 2021 and has gone to be with our Lord. He was born on April 14, 1951 to Raymond and Elsie?Perkins?in Missouri. He was the youngest of five children including 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Larry joined the Army and served our country from 1969 to 1977. He worked for Southwestern Bell/ATT for 30 years. His interests included motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and above all else providing and caring for his family \n He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Elsie?Perkins, his sister Carolyn Joyce?Perkins, and his brother William H.?Perkins. He is survived by his wife Maria D.?Perkins, his sons Eric V.?Perkins?(Nora) and Raymond J.?Perkins?(Erika), his daughters Mari I. Lopez and Karla E. Lopez, his sister Margaret Stark (Lacy), and his brother Raymond E.?Perkins?(Doris), 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be missed. \n Public visitation will be held at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, TX on Monday, Jan 11, 2021 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm with a 7pm service. A funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. Burial will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
