With a heart full of love and memories, we bid farewell to my beloved sister, Jenny Reyes. Born on October 25, 1981, in Mexico, Jenny was a beacon of light and a source of laughter to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and unwavering faith made her an extraordinary individual. Her love for her family, her work, her faith, and her pets was a testament to her selfless spirit and caring heart. Jenny was a passionate caregiver, a devoted teacher’s aide, and a stalwart member of the Bikers for Christ Prison Ministry.\n\nJenny was a woman of many talents and numerous accomplishments. With her Associate's degree from STC, she dedicated herself to the field of education, influencing countless lives with her kindness and patience. A fervent traveler, Jenny also loved participating in Bible studies and served dutifully in the Youth Ministry at Palm Valley Church. She held the Bill Glass Prison Ministry Award with great pride and was a proud member of the 4yrs Band Buster. Jenny lived a fulfilling life in Monterrey N.L., Rio Grande City, Sullivan, La Joya TX, Alton, and Mission, where she touched many hearts and left an indelible mark.\n\nJenny is survived by her loving husband, Guadalupe Jr, their son, Javier Solis Jr, her daughter Jisabella Elena Solis, her sisters Norma Montelongo and Claudia Gonzalez, and father Jose Antonio Montelongo ,brother Jose Antonio Montelongo and step-brother, Abram Cortina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Puente. As we mourn her passing, let us remember the verse from the Book of Matthew, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." Jenny was indeed pure in heart, and she now rests in the arms of the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service.\n\nVisitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 4:00 pm at the Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00 am at Palm Valley Church in Mission.\n\nIn honor of Jenny's life and legacy, we invite you to share your memories, stories, and photos of her on the memorial page.
