On Monday July 19th, 2021, Florinda Salinas, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 82. \n Florinda Salinas will be remembered for her generosity, unwavering faith, and passion for bringing family together through her homemade cooking. During her life, Florinda raised four beautiful daughters, and one loving son. Florinda and husband of 64 years, Eutiquio Salinas, were long time residents of Mission, Texas, and former owners of A1 Taxi — Mission's City Taxi. Florinda lives in each one of her family members, and her memory will live on in each of the lives she has touched. \n Florinda is preceded in death by her daughter Rosa Maria Solis- Salinas. She is survived by her beloved husband Kiko Salinas. Loving mother to Lourdes (Rolando) Salazar, Eutiquio Salinas Jr, Norma (Noe) Cortez, and Leticia Salinas. \n Grandmother of Julie, Aroldo III, Aaron, Albert, Noel, Roel, Selinda, Julie, Vanessa, Alex, April, Sandra, Armando, and Anthony. \n Great grandmother of Harley, Jason, Jacelyn, Arri, Devin, Austin, Araya, Oscar, Alejandro. \n Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM on July 21, 2021 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM on July 22, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. \n The family wishes to express the deepest appreciation to Grand Terrace Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and their entire staff for there steadfast care and attention.
