Estela R. Zamora Obituary (1930

Pe?itas - On January 16, 2021,?Estela?R.?Zamora, surrounded by her family, went home to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 90.?Estela?was born on February 12, 1930 to Salvador and Vicenta Ramos. She was married in Abram, Tx. to Roberto?Zamora?on June 14, 1952, and they were happily married until his death in 1972. Together they had 4 sons, Roberto Jr., Ramiro, Raul (Senaida), Rosendo and 4 daughters, Rosa Alba (Francisco Silva), Rita (Jesus Diaz), Rosario (Aroldo Soliz), and Ruby (Jacinto Lopez). Estella is survived by 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.?Estela?was also blessed with a brother and four sisters. Elodia Garza, Elizardo Ramos, Petra Camarillo, Hermila (Minga) Ochoa and Gregoria Flores. One of the family's favorite memories was her making her famous "tortillas" and getting together for their annual "Tamalada" during Christmas time. Her legacy of Life, Love, and Faith will live on forever through all her family. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, Mission, Tx. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 21st from 2:00-9:00 p.m at Ric Brown Funeral Home in McAllen, Tx., 520 Ash Ave., with rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated in her honor at 8:30 a.m. Friday, January 22nd at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Penitas TX. with burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Veteran's Cemetery of the Rio Grande Valley.
