Once she married Jesus (Guine), she became a devoted housewife and raised her two sons. She enjoyed taking many vacations with the family to Dallas, South Padre Island, Mexico and many other destinations in Texas and New Mexico. She also frequently accompanied Guine on his work- related trips. Esperanza enjoyed watching many Telenovelas and cooked delicious meals for her family. As a loving grandmother, she and Guine took care of all their grandchildren by picking them up at school and making sure they attended CCD classes.\nEsperanza lived a wonderful life full of happiness and gratitude. She prayed the rosary daily and always welcomed family members and friends who came to visit her. Her gentle demeanor allowed her to communicate well with everyone. She was a woman of strength and honor. Esperanza was the best daughter, wife, mom, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend that anyone could ask for.\nWhen Esperanza lived at her residence and when she entered the nursing home on July 2021, her two sons Jaime and Jesse visited her every day to ensure that all her needs were being met. Jaime would go to the nursing home twice a day and was her advocate there by addressing all her needs and reminiscing about her life and all the good times that the family shared together. Jaime and Jesse spoiled her all through life by granting her anything that she needed while at home and at the nursing home. Esperanza even made friends there at the nursing home and the staff adored her.\nIt was a blessing to have mom for 96 years and for her to have had all her memory there was a gift of God that enabled her to communicate with everyone up to the last days of her life.\nSpecial thanks to Norma Hernandez and Gloria Hernandez who visited Esperanza every morning there at the nursing home before Jaime would arrive. Also, thanks to all her relatives and friends who frequently visited mom and always put a smile on her face. Thanks to all the staff at Mission Nursing and Rehab Center for the wonderful care they provided Esperanza.\nWe love you mom, and we will always cherish the wonderful memories that you made possible throughout your glorious life. We are at peace knowing that you are now in heaven reunited with all your loved ones.
