David Corpus Sr.

David Corpus Sr. waltzed into heaven on May 9, 2026. David was born on December 29, 1935 in San Nicholas, Monterrey, Mexico to Ladislao and Agripina Corpus.

David will be remembered as a quiet and hardworking man. He was an entrepreneur who enjoyed outdoor sports, especially hunting and fishing.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 10am Friday May 15, 2026 at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church, 620 Dunlap Ave. Mission, TX. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission, TX.

David is survived by his daughter Gina Marie Corpus-Mahan and her spouse Nicole Mahan-Corpus of Paris, TX, and son David Corpus Jr. and spouse Maria G. Corpus. He is also survived by his granddaughters Samantha A Corpus, Sarah N Corpus and spouse Joel R. Larralde, and grandson David R Corpus and step grandson Gervie Stone.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria Estella Corpus, his parents, and his in laws, Roque and Sara Alaniz and his 3 siblings.

Family visitation will be on Thursday May 14, 2026 from 4pm - 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Brown Family Funeral Home at 701 E. Expressway 83, Mission, TX 78574.
