MISSION - Daniel Lee Sieger from Mission, Texas died unexpectedly on August 25, 2020 at the age of 45. \n \n Daniel is survived by his parents who live in the Mission area; his mother, Herlinda Sieger; his father, Delbert Sieger; his grandmother, Olivia Valdez from McAllen; his sisters, Belinda Altis and Melissa Khamo. \n \n Daniel was born in Frankfurt, Germany on March 9, 1975 on a military base where his father was stationed in the U.S. Army. Daniel was a Mission High School graduate Alumni Class of 1994. Daniel was in ROTC and loved playing football in middle school and was a Mission Eagles football player for Mission High School. Daniel was passionate about football and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and college team Notre Dame. Daniel pursued a career in the IT industry doing what he loved in computer programming and computer networking early in his career before working in the transport industry. He also enjoyed photography and traveling across the country visiting family and friends or just leisure. Daniel loved his family and was a spiritual person at heart. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. \n \n A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, 520 Ash Ave, McAllen, TX 78501. Chapel service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in McAllen. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Mission. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of McAllen.
