It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alejandro Alberto Gonzalez on July 10th, 2025. Alex was a beloved individual who lived life with passion, versatility, and an unwavering curiosity for the world around him. Born in Salinas, California, Alex was always fascinated by the endless possibilities that life could offer. Whether he was helping people in a social services capacity or crab fishing in the Alaskan ocean, Alex gave each role his all. For Alex it wasn’t about titles or recognition—it was about the experience, the people he met, and the knowledge he gained. Beyond his professional endeavors, Alex was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who was always willing to lend a hand to others along the way. Alex is survived by his parents Victor Emilio Gonzalez Sr and Blanca Lidia Vasquez Gonzalez. His beloved siblings, Yolanda Gonzalez (Gregorio Hernandez), Letisia Gonzalez (Clint Skipper), Lilly Ann Gonzalez (David Campos), and Victor Gonzalez Jr (Emma Ruiz), as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends whose lives were touched by Alex’s infectious spirit and hardworking nature. Rest in peace, Alex. You taught us all that despite facing numerous challenges that would have discouraged many, you chose to meet life with strength, humor and hope. You reminded us daily that life is not defined by limitations, but by the courage to keep going, to find beauty in small moments, and to celebrate every victory—no matter how hard-won. Your resilience has inspired us all to live more fully and to never take a single day for granted. You will be forever remembered, forever loved.
