Ryan Benjamin Gonzalez

April 7, 2016

Ryan Benjamin Gonzalez, 26, beloved son of Oscar O. Jr. and Peggy (Echols) Gonzalez, went to be with our Lord, Friday, April 1, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born in Dallas, TX, on April 26, 1989 he lived in Sharyland, for most of his life. Ryan is preceded in death by his Papal Bill Echols and is survived by his loving parents, his brother Oscar O. Gonzalez III and wife Chanel (Mission), sister Kristina Renee Gonzalez (Sharyland), niece Lilyan Catherine Gonzalez, nephew Oscar O. Gonzalez IV (Mission), Grandmother Cathy Echols (Sharyland), Grandparents Oscar O. and Elsa Gonzalez (Hebbronville), his beloved dog Marley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A loving son, the best brother a sister/brother/sister in law could ask for, a cousin, a friend, a grandchild and uncle. Ryan loved all things outdoors and his dog Marley. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and had an amazing green thumb. He will be greatly missed. Heaven gained an angel. Thank you Lord for blessing us with Ryan.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Religious service, Thursday, April 7, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, in Mission, Texas.

A very special thanks to Luis (FedEx driver) who was an angel by his side.
Thank you to the ER and ICU medical staff, at McAllen Medical Hospital. We were touched by your compassion and tireless dedication in caring for Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you pay it forward by donating blood, at United Blood Services, in memory of Ryan Benjamin Gonzalez.
