Obituary – Isidra Perez
MISSION – Mrs. Isidra Perez was born on May 13, 1925 to Mr. Felipe and Mrs. Theodora Plata; both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in Linares Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was united in holy matrimony on August 8, 1945, to the late Santos Perez, who was born in Seguin, Texas. To this union were born twelve beautiful children. She loved her husband, her children, and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren ….. and great-great grandchildren.

We are so thankful and grateful for our beautiful mother. She was a woman of strong conviction, courage and great faith in the Lord. Mom left us a great legacy of loving and living for God. Her desire was to continue to love one another after her departure.
Sister Isidra Perez entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2019, at the age of 94. She will be best remembered as a women of great faith and for her fervent love and hospitality.
She leaves to cherish memories of her life to: her children, Santos Perez, Jr and wife Carmen; Lauro Perez and wife Maggie; Maria Candelaris Perales and husband Johnnie; Oscar Perez; Gracie Shelby and husband John; Aurora Escalera; Mary Lou Pons and Carlos; Israel Perez, Sr and Alma; Dora Cervantes and husband Seferino; Norma Garcia and husband Jaime; Joel Perez, Sr and Beatriz; Alma Frances Gonzalez and husband David; along with a sister, Manuela Plata; and a niece, Jesusita Escobedo; 47+ grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; Nephews, Nieces, Relatives and many, many Friends; as well as her New Covenant Church Family. She will be greatly missed by all of us.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 1-7pm, and Wake Service will be held at 7:00pm at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11am at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission, Texas. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Services will be officiated by the New Covenant Church, Pastor Eddie E. Willis, Sr. Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
