SAN ANTONIO – Irma Linda Vargas passed away peacefully at her home on April 9, 2018. She went to be with her Lord at the age of 66 years old. She was born in Sullivan City, TX on July 20, 1951. She was a graduate of La Joya High School Class of 1971.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Isabel Salazar and Isabel G. Salazar and her brother, Arnoldo (Enedina) Salazar.
She is survived by her children; Armando Vargas Jr., Alberto Vargas, Ivette (John) Vargas-Barrientes, grandchildren; Alberto Vargas Jr., Tiffany Lopez and Jeremy Barrientes, siblings; Arturo Salazar, Arnulfo (Maria) Salazar, Adalberto (Olga) Salazar, Imelda S. (Apolinar) Solis, Irma S. (Rene) Solis and Idiola Valdez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5pm – 9pm with a 7pm rosary at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mission. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.
