Obituary – Guadalupe R. Cardona

August 26, 2017

PHARR – Guadalupe R. Cardona, 73, passed away on August 23, 2017, at the Comfort House in McAllen. She was born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, and spent most of her adult life in the Rio Grande Valley. She loved to cook, and was always ready to welcome people in her house. Spending time with her family and traveling were a few of the things she enjoyed most.
Guadalupe is survived by her husband Jose Luis Cardona of Pharr; children Delia (Juan) Barron of Harlingen, Juan (Irene) Ramirez of Hockley, TX, Anna (Greg) Garcia of La Joya, Angelica (Leroy) Arriaga of Pharr, Josefina Cardona of Pharr, Jose Luis (Cynthia) Cardona Jr., of Edinburg. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, as well as by 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 5-9pm with a 7pm rosary at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission.
Cremation services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
