MISSION – Aurora Garza Garcia went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born and raised in Granjeno, Texas. Aurora is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Garcia; parents, Napoleon Garza Sr. and Francisca Guzman Garza, five brothers, Miguel Garza Sr., Isidro Garza, Napoleon Garza Jr., Daniel Garza, David Garza, a sister, Florencia “Lencha” Garza Anzaldua, grandchildren; Jose Humberto Magallan (Baby Joe), Angelita Cantu, and great grandchildren, Angel Gonzalez Cornejo, and Jose Cantu III. Aurora is survived by her sister, Margarita Garza Perez, eight daughters; Cristina (Jessie) Sanchez, Criselda Garcia, Zulema (Ramiro) Vasquez Sr., Aida (Jose Alvaro “Varo” Sr.) Gonzalez, Noemi (Salvador) Jimenez, Emma (Joel Vela), Cita (Jesus) Garza, Leticia (Rigoberto Sr.) Magallan, 31 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, 39 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jose Alvaro “Varo” Gonzalez Jr., Michael Garcia, Rigoberto Magallan Jr., John David Jimenez, Ramiro Vasquez Jr., Ricardo Garza Jr., Juan Cantu and Moises Garcia. Viewing will be held from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Mission. Burial will follow at Granjeno Cemetery in Granjeno. Services were entrusted to Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.
