MCALLEN / LUBBOCK – Jerry Wayne Davis, 26, passed away on March 20, 2016. Jerry was a fun guy, who always had a great time no matter what he was doing. He was a graduate of Memorial High School in McAllen where he excelled in wrestling. Wrestling was a passion, which he carried with him throughout his life. He was a great father, and his daughters were what gave him purpose in life. He will always be remembered for being a determined individual, who could accomplish anything. Jerry was currently a student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where he participated with the Texas Tech Navigators, a christian student based organization.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James & Shirley Walters; paternal grandmother Carolyn Davis and an aunt Debbie Del Bosque.
He is survived by his wife Maggie; daughters Crystal Luna, Amber, Faith and Grace Davis. He is also survived by his father Clint Davis; mother Nancy Davis; sister Kimberly Davis, as well as by his paternal grandfather Tom Davis. Also left to cherish his memory are aunts and uncles, cousins and a large extended family.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 12-8 pm at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. A funeral service will be on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 10:00 am at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Chapel in Mission.
