Ashley Gutierrez

MISSION — Ashley Gutierrez, 23, of Mission, TX entered into eternal rest on January 26,2016 in Jacksonville, FL. Ashley was bom in El Paso, TX to Eloy Jr. and Clementina Gutierrez on August 18,1992. She graduated from Sharyland High School in 2010, attended UTPA, and finally joined the United States Navy where she was stationed in Jacksonville, FL. Ashley was a loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and granddaughter. Ashley and her contagious laugh will be greatly missed by all. Ashley enjoyed listening to music, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
Ashley is preceded in death by her grandfather, Eloy Gutierrez Sr., aunt Cynthia Barrera, uncle Abel Barrera Jr., and uncle Cosme Tijerina.
Ashley is survived by her parents, Eloy Jr. and Clementina Gutierrez of Mission, sister, Nicole (Luis) Guzman ofMcAllen, grandmother, Amelia Gutierrez of Benavides, TX, grandparents Abel and Bemardina Barrera of San Diego, TX, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing will be from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission. Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.

    My deepest condolence to your family loss your beautiful family member. I have found comfort in bible it has given me hope that I can see my love one again. I hope it will bring you comfort also.
